Family lines

Work from evidence, not just a familiar name.

Kirkpatrick lines cross Scotland, Ireland, and America in many different ways. The same names recur, so each connection deserves its own proof.

Fred’s approach

Some lines are established. Others are still being tested.

Fred’s notes include questions around generations 11 through 14, especially repeated names, dates, spouses, and the relationship between several Scottish, Irish, and American branches.

When a source conflicts with another source, the conflict belongs in the research record. A clear question is more useful than a confident guess.
